2011 Season
The 2011 volleyball season has been a great year for both the JV and Varsity teams. Our theme verse for the year has been 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” The team’s primary goal was to accomplish the truth of this verse, glorifying God. Our girls have tried to glorify God in the way they have practiced and played.
With regards to wins and losses, both teams finished the season with undefeated region records and were both region champions. This is the first JV region championship in school history! |

The varsity team played in the Faith Christian School Volleyball Classic in South Georgia. Of eight teams competing, our girls took second place, losing only to the host school.
At the Georgia Christian Athletic Association (GCAA) state tournament in October, the varsity girls defeated cross-town rival Peoples Christian in the semi-finals, 3 games to 1. They then went on to win the state championship against Killian Hills Christian from Lilburn, 3 to 0. Way to go, Eagles!
The varsity team only has one senior graduating this year so we should look forward to a strong team entering the 2012 season.
