Well, the returning starters and I knew it was going to be a difficult season. I can say that the players played to the best of their individual ability and that is a success. I could hand out many most improved trophies because we saw improvement in all of our players. I hope each player had as much fun this year as I did even though we faced some pretty difficult losses.

I learned or confirmed a lot of truths this year. One is the concept of team. It has nothing to do with winning or losing. Instead, it is a group of athletes working hard for the same goal and in the process becoming a family. Another truth is that there are some who can give 110%. The last thing I learned is how bad a burnt fuel solenoid smells.
